one bad xp

New Member
so my 96 xp is looking a little weathered. this winter i was wanting to give it a fresh new paint job. just wondering if anyone knew the best way to rig up some supports to where i could paint the underside of the hull. i just dont want it to fall to the floor. any tips would help. thanx

you could pull the pump assembly and stand it on end up against the wall of your garage if the walls are tall enough

bad idea??

if i lay it on the side to paint, would that not mess up the carbs or anything since it is already winterized? i just dont want to mess up the engine to paint it

Just be sure to roll it to left side so the anti-freeze won't go in the carbs. I would be sure the fuel tank is drained, battery is removed, and oil tank is secure too. Fill it so no air gets in the tank or lines.
