Many of you have seen my other thread about buying two jetskis that have been sitting for close to 10 years. Today I started the process of cleaning out oils, gas tank, fuel lines and so on...
One of the skis I started to notice had alot of white chalky build up on the fuel lines and bottem of the carb(like battery acid corrosion). I took the spark plug out and there was a drip of water on it. I took the other one out, it was dry but the white corrosion was on the tip of it. This is leading me to believe this ski was drowned back in the day but even if it was drowned, I doubt moisture would be on the plug after 10 years....
What do you guys think about the white corrosion?

I spun it over earlier and I checked compression. It is about 160 for both sides so I guess that wasnt an issue.
Neither of the Jet skis are getting fuel through the main feed line but I cant find a fuel pump anywhere. Do these things have a fuel pump that work off of the push start button?

Checked a few more things earlier. Because of the fuel issue, I put a little gas in the carbs and it wouldnt start, then I put a little gas in the spark plug hole and it still wouldnt even try to turn over. I checked for spark and its getting sprark fine.
I still need an answer to the fuel pump question but would there be some electrical issue as to why the engine wont turn over with fuel and spark?
