Need some info on a 1994 sp

I recently bought a 1994 sp. Unknown to me the motor was swapped out for a 657x. Top speed is 48mph. I'm not complaining,just wondering if that's the speed I should be seeing. I have no idea if anything else was done to the ski. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks

Was the 48,,.from the speedo,,or from a cell phone gps?...we call them happy speedometers.

I have a 94 xp with the 657x and see it touch 50 on the GPS in good conditions so you are doing good. I have a lot of time into tweaking mine and pull my impeller out a couple times a summer to keep the edges clean and sharp.
