I'm looking for a source for this jet for a 1996 SPX. Kinda strange the other 717s I have use different Jetting for the same engine. I have a source for the 130 main jets. Help is appreciate the SPX keeps throwing me curves and delaying the inevitable Launch Date. :) I am putting this ski together from a pile of parts and I am vowing never to do this again. Help is appreciated. I'd like to get the jets asap.

Any shop that sells Seadoo parts should have them. Heck... any shop that sells PWC or snowmobiles that used Mikuni carbs should have them. If you have a local dealer, walk in, and tell them what you need... they generally have a generic assortment.

What's up with the different jetting on the 96 GTI and the SPX. Both skis have the same engine. GTI uses a 132.5 main and the SPX a 130. Same with the low speed jet... different sizes. Thinking about the GTI being a heavier ski and and SPX more of a performance ski... running leaner, etc...

I'm not sure what to call the low speed jets to get a good hit on what I need. I generally get carb kits when I do a search. I'd love to find these jets straight away because I want to get this ski in the water. This thing is sure taking me to school. LOL Fighting it tooth and nail and it's always something.

Oh.... I didn't put "low speed jet". I've never seen it called that in the manuals. They call it a pilot jet in most places I find it. And I search on mikuni part numbers. Gotta know what to call stuff. LOL You'd think the shop I buy all my jets from would have it. They call it a Mikuni "Slot Head Jet"

Please stop, just admit you didn't even search it...even if you put in "mikini 67.5" you'll get it. I've tried to tell you in other threads, you can't just search by part number, this stuff is over 20 years old and has changed part numbers a million times.

If you can't talk to me with respect I'd rather you keep your knowledge to yourself. I don't need it. Lots of friendly people on this board willing to help people without the attitude.

Understand and fair enough, but this is not a forum for people to do 'trivial' work for you that you can do yourself. Like searching a part that you already know the make, description, specs etc, now if you've exhausted all efforts...but you didn't even try on this one..

I'm gonna say a prayer tonight for everyone that has to tolerate you in person.
