I have the same boat & have made some of the same mods. My next project is the two battery system, can you give details on your installation? Nice mods, great pics!

What details would you like?

I used 4 gauge battery cables, the second battery is a costco optima blue d34.

I dont have a battery isolator, I just run one battery at a time keeping one ready for starting and the other for the radio etc. Nothing is connected directly to the battery except the bilge pump, everthing is selected through the switch.

I zip tied the voltage regulator to the top of my fresh air intake, no cutting no nothing. It was the nearest place with fresh air. I run a 700w amp and a gps and a depth finder and dual batteries and it has never had a problem. My pcv hose goes to a catch device I made out of pvc, it then continues on to the top of the filter cone. I just drain the nasty oil every 8 hours of use or so. It smells bad! So far everything is great except the #%&@ ICS weed clearing system. I dont really run into a lot of weeds so its no big deal, but I plan on removing it if I can find a way to fix my grate in place without the cable and still be able to open it in an emergency.

hey!

i have another quick question! do you think its a good idea to put a filter on the boat??? i noticed that BRP didnt do it in there air box, i figured you dont get much dust or dirt in there from being out on the water but its just kinda weird to me not to have a filter! but then i got to thinking that i have noticed a lot of moisture will buld up in the enging compartment and i figured if there was a filter it would get coverd in water and that def not a good thing! so as i right now i decided to just make the hole a lot bigger on the air box and cut out the middle plastic thing to get a little more air into the motor! i really didnt notice any difference but i figured i wouldnt! ....... lol Thanx man!

The newer boats have cone style filters in them. They did away with the air box. I have one in mine now too, It also serves as a backfire anti spark device.

Lotsa people put a 4 inch tube from the supercharger to a cone filter. Works great.
