Can I adjust the contrast on the multifunction gauge on my 2006 Sea Doo GTI SE? It has reently become unreadable.

there is no adjustments to be made on the multifunction gauge.... how it is become unreadable?

The contrast has recently faded to the point the gauge is unreadable in any daylight. I had to change the gauge on my similar 2007 GTI SE a couple of years ago when it became totally inoperative. I changed it myself, but then had to take the PWC in to a service facility to get the gauge reprogrammed to match the motor or it would not run. I'm hoping to avoid this on my 2006.

From the way your making it sound there is nothing on the outside cover of the viewing lense (sun fade, sun burn) that would obstruct view.. Looks like you make have to replace that cluster.. There is no way to adjust contrast on the machine

Well, that's too bad. The gauge is an expensive part and must be recalibrated by an authorized service facility to make it compatible with the motor.

Anyone know where I mught obtain a used multifunction gauge for a 2006 Seaoo GTI SE?

Thanks, all.

Talk to minnetonka4me.. He's the one to go to for your needs.. I know he parts out older skis, not sure about 4-Tecs though..

If not, I have the number of a guy who pRts out 4-Tecs.. Just would rather keep the money flowing within our community first..

Yeah, I know. I had to replace the gauge on my 2007 GTI SE a couple of years ago. Bought a new gauge - yikes! And, it does have to go in for calibration with motor. How can I contact your guy?

Thanks a lot.
