Would a bad MPEM cause a low/weak spark condition? I recently sold an MPEM that was running in my machine and now the buyer is claiming his wont run with it. He said he's changed the stator and coil and still getting weak spark? Think I might be getting a fast one pulled on me?

Any spark means mpem is funtioning. There are many causes and contributors to a
low spark condition. They are listed in the Factory Service manual. *Plug wires can
internally burn, coil can fracture, bad grounds can be connectors or internally rotting.
Pay the shipping for him to return it and refund his money if you did not insure your
package to him. A paypal claim or a Credit card pmt claim can be "charge-back, and
you will lose both your $ and your mpem. Always insure your part when you ship, its
your only protection against low-life's. PS: Dan Scully is a Turd! dan87951

I knew that any spark means the MPEM is functioning from the Manual. I'm no expert, so I wanted some clarification from some. I've read many of your replies to other threads and read how you've fixed many a machine on here, and respect your opinion. I also know how delicate they can be. Thanks for your clarification Bill. If they blow it up I lose the MPEM anyway, so I won't let them win easily!:dupe:
