MPEM Problems Trying to Replace on 2006 GTX

I've been having a fuel gauge issue on my 2006 GTX STD and have traced it back to my MPEM. I have bought two used MPEMs on Ebay and they both are doing the same thing when I switch them with my original. With the used replacements my gas gauge is working but I am getting a 1502 code (TOPS sensor) and it is running in limp mode. I sent the first MPEM I bought back but still have the second.

Has anyone run into this before? Is there a way to program the ski to the MPEM and turn off and on features? A friend of mine has the B.U.D.S. system and he was unsure if it was possible to do this. Can anyone help. I am sick of hearing the low fuel beep every 5 minutes!

Thanks!

Interesting! How did you trace the fuel gauge problem back to the MPEM? I'd double check you electrical connectors on the MPEM.

I though I had a starter solenoid problem (no power at all when I put the lanyard on), but after I changed it, I still had the same problem, so I checked (again) all the MPEM fuses with the lanyard on the post. Suddenly, I had power again.

I took the ski out yesterday, and I didn't have any power again. I grabbed the MPEM and suddenly, I had power again. the ski ran fine for the afternoon. When I got home, I looked very closely at the MPEM electrical connectors and one of locking tabs wasn't locked.
