motor swap

I purchased a 95 seadoo SPI. I got the whole ski minus the motor. Can i put a different motor in it oter then the 587 and what all would i need to change.?
Also what size motor would you reccomend?:bigear:

Recreational & family use the 587 is a reliable, easy to maintain, gas sipper.
A 657 with electronics, is a step up.
A 657X or a 720 with its electronics, would need an impeller pitch change.
All four engines fit the existing mounts, and would need aligned.
We recommend a fuel delivery system overhaul/clean-up..
