Yes : check out my GTI -130 thread:
With a $600 tune ( send in your engine ECU for programming) and $200 Solas 11-19 impeller you can get a 6 + mph bump in top speed ,better fuel economy that will pay for the upgrade and better acceleration so long as you don't mind riding in cooler weather cuz with a Na engine atmospheric conditions are a big deal.
Just to wet your appetite, on a 80 degree day , I can achieve the stock top speed of 55 mph at 1/2 throttle and top speed of 61 mph . On the 100 degree day , I got a 2 to 3 mph mph bump in top speed but max fuel consumption dropped from 10 to 9 gal/hr all day long. So on a very hot day your getting 2+ mph bump up in speed and a 10% min drop in max fuel consumption.
With the higher rpm cam on your pwc that gives it some more top end breathing, who knows you may get better results then me or not so good if the added torque from the tune does not get you up to that higher 7500 rpm designed rpm peak so its hard to say cuz I have not read of anyone trying it .
With my GTi 130 so far ,my revs have made it to a sustained 7350 rpm witch is ideal for a engine with a 7300 design rpm peak . So far it looks like the GTI 130 was Taylor made for a V -tech tune . If by the grace of God you could get to 7550 rpm with this impller , it would be a game changer for sure but I doubt it could be done.
