Ok Rod two things. Holy flat head continental! I think that's what powering that fork truck. And, it's a shame those 250r tires are bald, they can bring some money. Do you have the trike they came from orur were they from a 250r quad? I like your style looks like you have a little bit of everything. Barns, sheds and tarps, all the good stuff is in and under those. You weren't ever on American Pickers were you?

Yep! 4-banger flathead Continental ... runs good so far. I paid too much for the rig, but it included having it delivered to my front door and I have found over time that I can no longer rassle this stuff around. Found a person at Clark headquarters who has been very helpful ... very difficult to find a maintenance manual at the local auto parts store.

I am not sure where the wheels/axles originated; the stand was included with the ski, I just repainted it.

No barn yet, but working on it. Those cheap tarps last just a few months in the sun, but definitely necessary and Harbor Freight always has sales.

Naw, them American Pickers guys just want to buy stuff and I do not yet have my half-acre covered with stuff ... but working on it.

My just-departed ex did not refer to it as "style", but that is another story. "stuff", guys gotta have "stuff"

Also got an electric/hydraulic pallet lift so I can just wheel "stuff" like motorcycles, SeaDoos, various other implements on it, hit the lever and up she comes to a comfortable level complete with drink holder.

David, sorry to steal your thread ... outtahere for now

Others have a much tougher off-season than I though, making payments on a boat they can't use 6 months of the year!

I wonder if Rod wants to race flat heads, mine's a '49 but isnt' bored 0.25 and doesn't have the Lincoln stroker crank (yet).

Sure, why not race ... 0 to 2 mph. My 59 Clark auto trans might just do it whilst you are smoking your tires.

Now that I went back and read ALL the posts, I do not feel so bad about causing a slight derailment.

What was the topic?

Rod, if you need the manual let me know. My bro in law works for Yale Hyster. He got me the Clark manual for ours, which looks just like yours. Is your data plate to the right of your seat? Get me the model # and serial # and I can get you the manual.
