2005 Sea Doo RXT 4-TEC
Got a check engine light and P-1202 code after ~ 15 minutes of riding. Cleared it by removing the lanyard, but it's back in ~ 5 min.
Researched this on line, and was pointed to the oil pressure sensor right under the TOPS unit. Should be an easy fix!
Except, I don't have an oil pressure sensor there!
The manual shows one in the pictures, but I don't have one!
Attached are two photos: The first one is from the online manual showing the oil pressure sensor. The second is from my ski -- no sensor.
So, NOW what!?
When I plug in the lanyard, the TOPS unit HUMS but does not "click". Could a bad TOPS unit be the problem?
If so, what kind of tool do I need to pull off the funky "screws" that hold it on? Are those TORX?
Appreciate some guidance. Thanks
Steve
