Missing line on oil tank?

Is there supposed to be a line connected to this? It is on top of the oil tank on a 01 gtx. Thanks.

No its just a air hole and it's the sensor/float that keeps up with how much oil is in the tank

It's a tank vent check valve to let air in as the oil is used up.
