max speed on a 1999 sea doo gti?

I think I remember hitting almost 50 once, but it was like glass. Mine are good for right around 45

I only get 35-40 mph on my 2002 GTI. Water has to be like glass. Then again, the thing is pulling 270lbs.

livin,....have you checked the gap between the wear ring and impellor blade, also..no offense, but if gap is minimal, find stock pitch and go 1-2 up, with 270lb, new impellor,... turn more rpm's...

GTI's aren't supposed to be fast. 720 motor with a 500-some pound ski. my 97 does a little over 40.
