Mashed Spark plug

I have a 04 RXP and took it for a ride and it ran good all day. Next morning I fired it up and let it warm up for a few minutes before I took off got about 100yrds from shore and it started to run funny so I whipped it around and came to an Idle then it died.. Hit the start button.Click. Nothin. Tok out all of the spark plugs and the Cylinder closest to the back had a plug that looked like you took it out and beat it on the ground. Is there a broken part of the piston on top of the piston?? The boat will not turn all the way over. When I spin the impeller shaft backwards then hit the start button it goes to one spot then stops. Regardless I am gonna have to replace the piston, what else could it be??

You will only know after you open it up to inspect the damage, I work on a lot of the older 2stroke powerplants, I read where exhaust valves break in the 4stroke models and supercharger problems often.

yup... Hate to say it... but sounds like a valve dropped.
