I have an 03 Seadoo gtxdi it will only go up to 35 miles an hour and loses power. Already changed the regulator any ideas?

With the maintenance light on it’s probably electrical. I would getting a CanDoo scanner since you have a DI.

Is the maint light on?
If no maint light then check compression and fuel pressure.

If you replaced the rectifier with aftermarket, start the ski on the trailer with a volt meter connected to the battery.
Read the voltage at about 4000 rpms. Voltage should be 13.5 to 14.5vdc.
Anything less or more is an indicator that the rectifier is bad.

Thank you, we already replaced the rectifier end it is now up to that voltage. But it is losing power and still kicking the maintenance light on and shutting off at that point in the water

Sounds like your new rectifier is not working. I’ve had new rectifiers that were “sometimers.”
Fuel pump would not cause the maint light.
You should hear the fuel pump when you install the lanyard.

While you are figuring out the problem, I would go ahead and change the filter. Also change the internal filters on the pump. Go to your local auto parts store and purchase an Airtex FS242 and FS220. Pull the fuel pump. Carefully disassemble the pump assembly and replace the internal filters.
