1995 GTX low oil warning light stays on all the time reguardless of level. Unplug the connector and the light is still on. Any ideas how to put the light out?

Thanks,
Glen

You will have to get a new or used oil sending unit in order to get rid of the oil light. Your sending unit is faulty not your gauge, that is why the light is on.

I was hoping there was another way of getting rid of that light and also my low fuel warning light is staying on. Why doesn't unpluging the connecter put the light out?

Thanks

I can't say why both are being funny

BUT might want to check all your wires to and from the MPEM, Check for continuity the sending unit wires and the wires going back up to your gauges.

I'm guessing you'll find a ground open somewhere

found the problem, it was the ground wire going to the gauage, it was broken, everything works fine, thanks again for the advise.
