Hello everyone!

I'm new here and need some info, been looking at some posts and can tell that there is
knowledgeable folks here! Last weekend the "low oil" light came on, yet the tank is 3/4 full of
oil. Is there a sending unit in the oil tank? Or is there a sensor that dedects oil pressure?
When I flushed the engine, when I took it out of the water, I did see the usual slight oil
smoke when the engine was running, so I feel that it's getting the oil. There is no "beeping"
alarm, just the message and the light.

Welcome to the forum. Not sure about the RFI model, but typically there is a float sensor that would detect the oil level.

You might try posting this in the 2-stroke PWC section of the forum. That would be a more specific place for questions about your model.

Thanks for the reply Toro, I made a discovery about the oil tank, it flattens out as it dissapears under the nose, so the portion
of the tank that you see when you remove the seat is the deepest part of the tank. The sending unit is in the flatter part of the tank!
In summation I put oil in the tank and light went out, it was low on oil, the sensors did what they were to suposed to do! The problem
turned out to be the nut behind the handlebars!

Thanks for the heads up, will make further posts on that forum.
