Hello yall.
Recently i bought a 2003 seadoo gtx 4 tec non supercharged and found that the ski has a steady stream of white smoke while underway on the water. The smoke comes from the back of the ski and i do seem to loose a little bit of coolant from about 1 hour of riding. I was thinking head gasket bit really don't want to tear into it and cause more damage. I also have hot water coming from the blige after a ride. The water is clear when in the bilge but when on the ramp creates a rainbow. I was thinking oil but not sure if coolant could do the same thing. The ski runs great with no hesitation and gets about 55mph top speed. I can hear a water dripping noise when the ski is off and on a beach coming from the rear portside of the ski. Still haven't figured out the exact location.

When you say you loose coolant, are you adding coolant to the machine and if so how much? What color is your coolant? What does your oil look like? Have you ever pulled the plugs? What does they look like?

A little bit of of white smoke is normal on these machines, as they inject a bit of seawater into the exhaust manifold to keep it cool.

The level on the bottle decreased and yea i added more to bring it back uo but it did it 2 times now. The coolant is green. My oil looks alright i think cant really get the most accurate reading on it tho.

Obviously you have a coolant leak somewhere, download a service manual and follow trouble shooting procedures.
