Loose water regulator valve

The water regulator valve on my 2002 GTX DI is loose. The plastic threads are stripped and will not tighten to the metal bolt that fits into the exhaust. Is there any way to fit it short of a new valve? Thanks

You can try wrapping some teflon tape around the damaged plastic threads. This may get it to snug down for the time being. It's a trick I have used in the past with varied results.

Replace it. Its alittle hard to glue new threads on.
