after driving my XP and my wife's GTX, i noticed my steering is loose... not the part controlling the nozzle, but the bars don't seem as firm/tight to the ski... It works 100% and I man handle the thing, so I'm sure I put more stress on the system than she does.

anyway, what's the most likely part I'll need... I plan to take it apart once I winterize it, but figured i'd ask now... I've looked at the diagrams, and am guessing it's where they pivot... I plan to replace the throttle cable at the same time as well, I hear that's fun!

Did you try and tighten the bolts? The bars are just clamped on with a couple of bolts and you might just need to tighten them down. You can check it by removing the plastic's with out removing anything else.

it's definitely inside the steering, not in the handle bars. it's getting colder here, so most likely once i winterize it i'll take the steering apart...
