Here the trailer would be worth 250ish so yes I'd pay it if I wanted to save the GT. The other hull might have some ebay parts on it but would be a pain to dispose of.

I agree the trailer is worth at least $300 here. Definately worth it if you want to save the GT. I would part out the GTI and then cut the hull up into pieces that will fit in the garbage can. I have done this before with a chainsaw to dispose of fiberglass hulls. May even find someone that needs the hull that you could give it away to if it is in good shape.
