Looking to buy!!

I'm going this weekend to look at a 1998 Sea doo Challenger 1800 and I was wondering what to look for in the way of maintenance or problem areas and if this particular boat is a good boat to own? I've only owned one other boat, a fish and ski, which had an outboard, so the jet boats are new to me. Any advice would be appreciated!! Thanks

hey lashk....if any advise, take it out on water, and if he/she syes, then someting wong...compression test, check wear ring to impellor clearance, no more than 1mm. THEY ALL SOUND GOOD ON THE TRAILER...good luck, stud
