looking to buy clean title

I just bought a 97 sead doo from an insurance auction and its been branded, so I cannot license it. I need to buy a clean title from somone so I can then license this. Does anyone here have one for around this year? Maybe a damaged machine, or wrecked one?

do you mean you have the WHOLE machine? I already have a seadoo, I just cant license it because it was branded. I am looking for a clean ownership that I can buy, and then switch over. I have done it before with motorcycles. It is completely legal to do as long as you do it properly. How much you looking for it?

I have the hull and trailer but the hull is empty i parted it out i have the title for it, title is clean.

I beleive that what you are asking may be ilegal. To be legal you would have to take all of your stuff and put it into a different hull that has a title. I know this sounds stupid but I believe that is what you would have to do to be legal. I can all ways be wrong so good luck Robin. :cheers:

what the heck is branded? here we have salvage titles. if your vehicle was totaled by insurance or stolen and recoverd by insurance then auctioned. your vehicle gets classified as salvaged and it cuts the value in about half.:cheers:

whats the brand on the jet ski, not sure if it works the same as sleds bikes and cars/truck but i know you cant do that with bikes, most bikes now in ontario are branded irrepairable meaning they can never be put back on the road .... what auction did you by it from?? Impact auction? whats wrong with it sometimes in rare occasions you can have the brand reversed....

ok, I can expain this pretty easily. First off, I am a full time firefighter and the LAST thing I would EVER do is something illegal. I have done this before with motorcycles and it IS completely legal as long as you have a "fed" inspection afterwards. My seadoo was bought and is branded. Here in Canada you can UNBRAND cars and trucks and then they are listed as "rebuilt", but you CANNOT do this with motorcycles or other personal things like that.

THis is where I need a good hull and title. I CAN buy them from the US and then import it here, as I have also done this many times. I simply give you the money for what I want, and then the paperwork thru the RIV (importing place) is all done thru me.

How much would you want for the hull and title?? I can then change my stuff over, have it inspected, and then legally license it here. I just do NOT want to put my seadoo in the water and get stopped by the police for riding an "unlicensed" vehicle.

Just let me know how much you want for it, and I will take all the responsibility for the bringing it to my address.

I know the branding process with cars bikes and trucks, most bikes are branded irrepairable. cars that are branded salvage have to have a frame measurement 4 wheel algiment frame rack pic and damage pic then the brand can be changed to rebuilt. I fix about 200 cars/trucks a year that are branded, How does the branding process work for watercraft? I do know that you would need to switch the parts over to a hull with a clear title wink wink lol..... but how doest it work for boats is it the same as with cars and trucks???

I have never done boats before. I have done hundreds of cars, trucks, bikes, and sleeping trailers. The process is quite different if I buy the unit here in Canada, than if I buy it in the US and bring it here. Until last June, I could buy bikes there and when I brought them across, they would "clean" themselves up. It is still that way now for motor trailers. Now if I buy a motorcycle or a seadoo (as I did) that is branded "irreparable", it can NEVER be unbranded and licensed again. This is why I can buy a straight frame (for bikes) or a hull (for sea doo), and then just switch things over and then it can not only be licensed, but can be done COMEPLETELY legally. It can just sometimes be hard to find a good straight frame and title, or good hull with title.

I just bought a frame and title for a bike for $400, and now all is well. I just take it to police for inspection before AND after I change things over. I can do same with hull. I only need to make sure I buy a hull that is legally owned and the title is CLEAN. I am NOT intersted in any stolen parts, or a title that money is still owing on.

"mike martinez", how much do you want for this hull and title? Providing its not stolen (and I'm sure its not), and you dont owe any money on it, its EXACTLY what I need. Let me know a reasonable price as soon as you can.

I can do the HULL and TITLE for $100 dollars title is clean don't owe no money on it, its not stolen, i bought this ski because i needed the carbs off it for my ski and i kept some parts that fit my ski.

p.s. i have a 96 spx with a 717 motor the 95 xp is the same ski just different color thanks.
