I have a 1995 Sea Doo Gtx leaking water where the steering cable goes through the Hull. I purchased the parts I think I need from a local dealer. Rubber gasket, slit plastic connector and a metal ring to encompass the split parts.
Any suggestions on making sure I get this right before attempting??

Thanks

Hi
I have a 95 sea doo gtx and it leaks water through the steering cable connection thru the hull. I bought the split ring ,the round cylinder and a gasket and I was told that was all I needed. Has anyone ever replaced these fittings and is there any tricks to doing it.
THanks
Doug

Welcome to the seadoo forum wavylake. If you remove the old one and replace it with the new one in the same order you should be ok. That gasket is the important item to install correctly.
