OK I'm new here.. My '98 gsx leaks water, but only when the motor is running... I cannot see where it is coming from, have replaced the carbon ring & checked almost all lines and hoses. Its gotta be coming in through one of the cooling lines?? I wonder if anyone has had the through-hull fitting leak. Is there a way to pressurize the lines with compresses air???

Have you tried hooking a hose to the back flush port while out of the water? It might be easier to trace that way (make sure engine is running while water is flowing!) i'd try that first.

I have had the hose hooked up. No leakage. I'm baffled as to why it leaks on the water, but not in the driveway, running but not floating.

look inside the nozzle/pump area. Do you see BOTH white little plastic tubes, protruding from the inside/top of pump. If not, thats your problem. Need those there, so the bailers work, if 1 or both are missing, it creates a reverse effect.
