I have a 1997 seadoo gsx, removed the rave valve assembly,removed the valve blades,they were both in different. The blade has a imprint with the letters TOP, thinking that should be at top visible with the tapered edge towards the piston to allow clearance, is this correct ? please help.

You should be able to read TOP on the blade when you reinsert the RAVE. Your thinking is correct.
