I was troubleshooting a no start problem when I noticed i had oil leaking out of my exaust rave valves. I'll pulled the caps and springs off and sure enough have melted the plastic caps (again!!). Just seems to happen on my PTO jugs, and right where the guillentine threads into the cap. Is it possible I'm running to lean (hot). I'm using 87 fuel and Seadoo Mineral oil since I put these engines in last year. The carbs have been recently rebuit, although the rig is running amazingly right now. I did a spark plug check at idle and wot and they looked to be right on par with seadoosnipes sparkplug guide.
Any ideas? I've replaced these caps once already this year.
