Just purchased my first, a 96 SeaDoo GSX

Hey all, I'm completely new to PWC's and I just purchased my neighbors 1996 GSX plus trailer for 2000$. It has 161 hours on it, and is extremely well maintained as the seller is a mechanic by trade. It has a new power trim motor, odyssey dry cell battery, fuel sending unit, fuel filter, spark plugs and jet pump oil changed. The trailer has new axles, rims, tires and lights. It also comes with all the tools, anchor, fire ext., first aid kit, extra oils and lubes. Can someone tell me if I got a good deal?

sounds like a good deal. the gsx was my first ski and we really love it. very fast and fun to cut up and play on. little unstable in the no wake areas with 2 grown ups on it but we learned how to balance very quickly!! Awesome deal and welcome to the forums!!

My first ski was a Seadoo 97 GSX. I loved that ski and had a blast with it.

How long do these things usually last? Its got 161hrs on the engine.
