Just installed KVPI finger throttle.

Just thought I'd share some pics of my lucky eBay find. I managed to find a purple (kinda pink on top) KVPI finger throttle with blanking plate.

Lashed it on yesterday in the car park at the marina. A bit of a fiddly fit as the hole isn't centred in the same place as the stock item. All grub screws were missing so replaced them with some titanium items from a big box of RC car bits I had in my box. Very lucky!

Titanium is too soft for the RC I race, so I've been looking to use these up where I can

Anyway, onto the pictures!

Kinda miffed it exposed some of the stock bar, but hey-ho, can't really complain.

As a plus to this exposed bar situation, it's given me a perfect place to mount the GoPro.

Bar diameter is 7/8" or 22.22mm, find some black tubing to suit for filling the open gaps.

As a plus to this exposed bar situation, it's given me a perfect place to mount the GoPro.

yip, spray the exposed part black, put a ram mount right there and you can have gopro/gps, I bought both adaptors for my RAM and I was very pleased.

I had the same issue when i put the newer style grips on my gtx. Did what racer said, picked up a pvc tube from the sprinkler section @ lowes. Filled in the gap nicely.

This looks much better. I like those grips too. Do you know if you can get them with purple accents? I don't really want to go too far away from an OEM look.

These are oem ones i picked up on ebay. They are a bit thicker than the originals, which i find much more comfortable. Dont remember seeing any with purple inserts though. They are for 2000+ models.
