Hi All,
I just picked up a pristine 2007 GTI from a friend of mine that has 80 hours. I am in the process of going through to change all fluids and get it ready to store in my garage. I have downloaded both the service and owners manual. I am pretty mechanically inclined having doing all my own work on cars...but I do have a couple of questions on the waverunner. So far I have:
Added stabilizer in the tank with fresh fuel and topped off
Drained the coolant and replaced with a 50/50 mix
Replaced the spark plugs with new NGK
Today I am changing the oil and filter
Here are my questions:
I have read the manual on the antifreeze in the exhaust but am still a bit unsure where the best place to pour it in. I have seen on the net where guys have gone through the garden house in the water intake until it comes out the back...and the book shows disconnecting a hose and pouring in through the exhaust...what is the best way?
Secondly...it looks pretty straight forward in the fogging....just want to make sure before I do it. My plan is to remove the two bolts holding the rail on, pulling the injectors out, spraying in fogging oil, bumping it around a few times and then putting all back together...is that right?
This looks like a great forum...thanks in advance for all your help! PS...I bought the XPS lube and plan to spray the engine down with it when I am all done.
