Just curious why this is there

I was cleaning the inside of my hull and on the floor of the hull on both sides of where the VTS unit is, there are silicone discs a little larger than a quarter with a silver colored "nylon type" sticker on top. I was just curious why these are there because one was just laying loose in the bottom of the hull. I looked under the ski to see if they seemed to have anything to do with where something was bolted underneath but wasn't sure. they don't seem to serve any purpose that I could see. Anybody know? - just curious

It's just blobs of silicone that cover up the nuts that are attached to the 2 front intake grate bolts.
