Im trying my best to put a second battery into my 2007 speedster because I've installed a 600 watt amp to run a 10" MTX, 2 6 " fosgate tower speakers and 2 MTX 6.5 inch mids in between the seats.
So, there is a red power wire that comes from under the engine, i assume this is the power line. It gets connected to what looks like a small soleniod behind the passenger seat, where it is also connected to two ports. Another red line runs from that solenoid to the main power switch then into the stock battery.
According to the instructions I disconnect the red from the stock battery and connect it to the A port on the isolator, then a red power line from the 1 and 2 isolator ports to each battery. the amp runs off the second battery I installed via a red line off the positive side, and the negative is grounded. The trouble is I have no power to anywhere when I hook it up like this......
but the entire stereo works if I connect the amp power line to the stock battery
CAn anyone help?
