if i cannot get the impeller removed from the jet pump assy to rebuild it and replace o-rings and the spindles and such, what would you suggest is the best way to replace it? do places sell full jet pump assemblies?

also, i was wondering. would a jet pump assembly off a 1994 seadoo xp be compatible with that of a 1990 sp?

PB blast and a little heat maybe?

use a propane torch to heat up the impeller to break release the lock tight.

if that doesn't work spray some PB blast down the hole and let it sit on the vise overnight try again


YES from what I understand the pumps between all 140mm 2 and 3 person skis are interchange able.

your reduction/steering will be different your 90 doesn't have trim

thanks a bunch bud. i tried soaking it 2 consecutive nights in pb blast. however, the only way i could find to hold the impeller still was wedging it with a screw driver. all i succeeded in doing was tear apart the impeller and housing. so i'm gonna hope on buying a new assembly that i'll just rebuild.
