The beast is alive........but hurt. Took the boat to the dealer and he got it going. He said it was just realy flooded. I guess that's from trying to start the think for 3 weeks. Never the less it is now running. There still seems to be a problem. I hooked it up to a hose for cooling. I started the boat then the water. I looked inside the engine compartment and see water shooting out of the top of the head. It seems to be between the cover and the head. Called the dealer and he said it could need the o rings replaces. I pulled the head and the seal around the head and head cover is in bad shape. I plan on replacing all the seals. I did also notice a small crack in one of the domes so I need a new one of those. Anybody know where I get one at a good price?

OK Got a head and cover coming through e-bay. I see the top of the pistons have some black residue on them. I was wondering if I should use some very fine sand paper and clean them up?

still need some advise on weather or not to use the fine sand paper to clean up the top of the pistons befor I put them together.
