I bought a 2009 GTX215 in May of 2009. At the time I remember seadoo running specials on up to $2500/$1500 off on selected seadoo models or you could take the extended 5 year warranty instead but pay the original price. I took the full price route because I'd rather have a longer warranty on a machine like that. I told the dealer I went to about it and they said they'd honor it and I remember discussing with them how better I'm going to feel in the long run about paying full price and getting the warranty over takin the discount. However, the dealer now is saying they can't remember the special and won't honor it. Any input on what to do?

it sound like the dealer did not register the wty. with seadoo and may have took the money kick back from seadoo if you have the bill of sale and it is for full price and it is during the time of offer they need to honor it and make sure it is register with seadoo

I had this same problem with my dealer. Those scamming punks tried to sell me an extended warranty and as usual i said no. I went home and went to the sea-doo website to look at all the features of my new boat and thats when i saw that BRP was giving away extended warranties on all new boats. I went to the dealer and raised hell about it and they said they would make it right. They seemed real shady about it though. I had to call BRP to confirm that i had the warranty. Your best bet would be to call BRP.
