I have a hose on my head that is not connected to anything. Is that correct?

The hose with a red cap is so you can hook up a garden hose and flush your system. It is good to flush your system if you ride in the sea after your rides, and also before you winterize your ski.

So is it ok the way it is, or should it be connected to something before i ride?

It's fine how it is. Every ski should have that with a cap. Just as long as the cap is on there you should be fine.

You are good. It is a flush line, it will only have a hose attached when you go to flush the motors cooling system. If you do decide to flush your motor be sure to turn it on first then the garden hose. But the T joint coming off your head is there on puspose and the red cap part does not need to connect to anything.

If that is the only hose, where is the water inlet for cooling? I also looked on ebay to try to fing the adapter to fit thie fitting, anyone know what it looks like?

It is not a "t" it ends at the adapter

That red cap in post#1 is where the "adaptor" for your garden hose connects. Its about a foot long, and
probly is stored in your front storage compatment. IT quick-connects and has a stainless connection lock.
