Ok so here is the situation, I just put in my new MPEM in a 94 XP I bought about a month ago. I bought it with a bad one so I never heard it run or crank.................I got everything together and went to crank it and it seemed the motor was siezed. I took the head off to see what ws going on and noticed the rings were just kind of rusted to the cylinder walls. I sprayed them with some deep creep and bumped the started until they freed up. Now that they are free when I rotate the motor it pulls up ALOT of what seems to be oil from the crank case..............is this normal??? Cause it seems awfully strange to me........

Sounds like a rotary seal is bad if the leak isn't to bad u can leave it alone once u clear out the built up oil from sitting a long time put if it's a fast leak it will need to be replaced
