Is this a bad wear ring?

Ok I know it's a dumb question.

But what I am wondering is there anything else that can be damaged when rocks gouge that deep.

I replaced wear ring and impeller and machine is back to top speed.

I was worried that the teeth on the impeller shaft got stripped. Has anyone heard of that happening?

if you have stripped teath on the shaft you will know about it real quick, as soon as those suckers start slipping it will only be a couple of minuites if your lucky before it wont turn the imperller at all.
