I am looking at a 2004 RXP (Green/Black) one owner. It appears to be in very good condition, there are next to no scratches on the bottom of the hull, and very few on the upper portion of the hull. It starts, runs and sounds good. It has 29.9 hours on it and has been used very little in the past few years.

What do I need to look for? Anything to watch out for? Owner says its been serviced at the dealer at the end of every season.

Any help would be great!

Find out if the seramic washers in the supercharger have been replaced... They will go bad without warning and cause engine damage that will cost anywhere from 2/3K in repairs.. I have two 05's RXP with only 16 hours combined and the first thing I did was have the superchargers rebuilt. Get it done and your worries should be put to bed.. Google seadoo rxp supercharger problems.....

I am kind of in the same position, looking to buy an rxp or rxt and I am worried about the superchargers. Heard so many horror stories. Other than the washers, what kind of servicing needs to be done on a supercharged ski when between 50 and 100 hours? is this something I am going to have in and out of the shop every 10 or 20 hours replacing parts?

I don't know much but what I was told was have the supercharger looked at every 100 hrs. YMMV...
