Impeller seal direction

ran into couple of posts about seals, but still unsure how to install. Reworking my propulsion and when I removed the impeller there was a seal with the spring. Now with the set I've received a double lip seal without spring, never used those kinds, which way do I assemble it?. Its not clear from the manual.

Can you post a pic please,,,there is a new after market part for the pusher and spring that is far easier than stock,,,

Blue is the old one, the other is new. Did I got it right?
