Impeller replacement

Is there a way to tell if the impellers need to replaced by just looking in through the nozzle,I have a 97 speedster I sucked some gravel through last year I can see some little dings but they seem pretty minor also can these things be reconditioned they are stainless seem to get a lot of cavitation and lost 10mph of the top end. Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance

if you noticed a loss in topend, then its safe to say, either the impellor or wear ring is toast or even both. You can contact SBT, they do refurbishment for 25 buks, get a wear ring too.
