impeller refurbish needed??

HI I finally managed to remove the impeller ..can anyone tell me if the impeller is OK or if I need to get it refurbished?

One other quiestion, I expect that this an original impeller? will speed improve if I get a performance impeller or is there nothing to gain?

I had one that looked like that. I just took a wire wheel to it to clean it up, then I took a hand file and smoothed out all the edges. Then just put some fresh greese in it.

Over here in the US, I would send that out to get refurbished over winter. It can be done for $25. I dont know how practical that is across the world though.
