When I installed the stator on my rebuilt 587 i just put it back on where it was, originally, based on the marks the bolts left on the stator. The engine runs great, but id like to check timing to be safe.
Im familiar with the procedure on how to check it, but where is everyone getting the bracket to check it? Is everyone making there own? Is there another way to check it without the bracket?
