Ignition coils exploding!

Accidentally had my rear e-box filled with water all winter, came time to start the ski up, ski won't turn over but powers on (it WILL turn over when the rear e-box is disconnected)

The ignition coil gets extremely hot when connected to the battery, I assumed it was toast and put a new ignition coil in, same thing happenedand this coil burst open!

All fuses are good front and rear, I sanded all connections, something's shorting?

Nevermind....
I was attaching the e-box to the opposite battery terminals, frying the coil. I'm leaving this post up just incase someone else needs to see this.

Make sure your e-box is connected to the GROUND terminal of your battery, not the positive
