ignition 96 seadoo challenger no spark!!!

i have a 96 seadoo challenger.....it has been workin fine for several years now....it died the last time i took it out and i am not getting spark.....any input would be greatly appreciated......do i need a new ignition or wat should i look for.....thanks in advance..

i was also wondering if anyone knew where i can get a service manual for wire diagrams and maintenance for my 96 seadoo challenge.......if theres a link, on where i can get this please send me a message or post here thanks.....im new to this forum so bare with me if this issue has been covered....

if no spark, and being a 96', i'd pull the mag cover off, and inspect the pick-up coil. Those years, w/787, the brackets broke holding it in place..

Seems to be an issue, but an easy fix.

ok...i checked the pick up coil as suggested and it indeed came loose so i ordered a new assembly through a dealership...... the only problem is that i still do not have spark.... any thoughts?

12v light test the white wire at the coil, while hit'n start button...if tester dousnt light up, then most likely its the "igniter"..looks like an MPEM, and mounted on underside of ebox lid.

is igniter the correct term? i just wanna know so i can do some research on it.....thanks.... ill do the test light test and let you know how it goes.........
