I was on the water today with some friends doing some WOT turns with my boat when the right engine just started to sputter and die. The engine will not refire since. I checked and I have spark in both cylinders. It cranked for a few seconds and now it wont even crank when I hit the starter. It is not any fuses because when I hit the starter button it still attempts to crank, it just dont spin. It acts like something shifted. Any idea's on what to check?

:agree: same thing sort of happened to me; pulled the plug wires and grounds and then it started and ran fine; also sounds like you might have killed your battery

So I pulled both plugs, the engine started to turn over and shot out lots of vapor from both plus holes and I noticed that water started to come out of the exhaust port on that side at a steady stream. I put the plugs back in, it would fire for a few seconds then relocked. I took out the plugs and it would attempt to turn over again. Any Ideas? Did I somehow get water into the engine when it was running doing a hard corner?

if you ran the boat on one engine, you coul have floded the other engine with water. Keep trying to get the water out of the one engine. Take plugs out, crank...Then when you think you have most of the water out pour some gas oil mix down each cylinder and insert plugs and try to start. May take several attempts but you need to get that water out or you will have rust on your crank bearings.

Now I can't even get it to crank, it seems like my starter is weak now too. The battery voltage is good and the other engine fire right up i might add.
