I just bought my first seadoo. 1999 110 hp 3 seater. 114 hours. Just changed the plugs because it was mis firing... NOW...Runs great.

However, when I go to WOT it starts to go over 45mp at 6000 rpm but when it continues to increase rpms (about 6200 rpms) it slows down on its own to 4000 rpms. If I decelerate and push it again it runs great. Seems like some sort of rev limiter. But at 45mph and 6000 rpm it will run forever! I was by myself. so I am thinking that the throttle WOT with three people will max out at 6000 rpms and 45mph. Is the extra room in my throttle to allow for more weight, or does it need adjustmet, can this bike go over 6K rpm and 45 mph?

thanks

Perfect. Just what I wanted to know. I will get on it and enjoy the triple digit weather today in the bay area. Hopefully more ski days left. If not, got the big boat.
