Hull thickness

Looking at mounting a fish finder on my RXT-X, the manufacturer has told me the transducer will be able to shoot through the hull provided the hull is single skin and not sandwiched with foam, also the thickness cannot exceed 22 mm I was wondering if anybody knows the hull thickness in front of the engine?

The hull is only about 8mm thick but I am not sure if it is double thick on the bottom. The 2 strokes do have a double hull with foam between them though.

Spoke to a bloke this morning who services all makes of PWC and he reckoned the hull is about 10mm even at the centre of the hull. According to Lowrance if I mount the transducer to the side which would mean on the angle of the vee it would then give inaccurate readings.
