hull swap questions

ok i have a 97 sp that needs alot of cosmetic stuff and a new impeller and wear ring. I am getting a 97 spx that is complete except for the engine. i want to put the engine from the sp into the spx. what all do i need to swap for this to work. I know the mpeg would need to go with the motor since they are different sizes but what else. also the spx has no title so what could i do about that. would it be legal to swap the vin plate or is that a bad idea.

Not a good swap. They have different motor mounts. You will need to use all the electrical, fiberglass in some motor mounts, and swap the impeller.

Yep... the SPX had an 800 engine. It would be WAY too much work to put in the SP engine.

ok well now that i have it here, its missing way to much stuff to try this. now is there any way to test the mpem on this ski or do i have to take it to a seadoo dealer?
